About the Opportunity
SRM Concrete is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Batchman to join our growing team. This role is essential to daily plant operations and plays a key part in producing high-quality concrete products that meet customer specifications and SRM's industry-leading standards.
As a Batchman, you'll oversee the concrete batching process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and safety in every load. Your Mission & Key Responsibilities
  • Operate batching equipment to produce concrete according to mix designs, production schedules, and customer specifications.
  • Monitor and adjust raw material quantities, moisture content, and admixtures to maintain product consistency and quality.
  • Coordinate with drivers, plant personnel, and quality control teams to ensure timely and efficient concrete production.
  • Maintain accurate daily production records and monitor inventory levels of cement, aggregates, water, and admixtures.
  • Perform routine equipment checks, calibrations, and basic troubleshooting to support safe and efficient plant operations.
  • Ensure all batching operations comply with SRM safety standards, quality expectations, and environmental procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment throughout the plant.
  • Communicate maintenance or operational concerns promptly to plant leadership.
  • Assist in training and supporting new team members as needed.
