Job description

The work: 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor daily batch processing activities to proactively identify issues.
  • Troubleshoot batch job errors using SOPs and statistical analysis methods.
  • Update and maintain SOPs for batch jobs and monitoring workflows.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to operational processes during release cycles.
  • Assist with implementing monitoring solutions for new processes.
  • Maintain clear documentation and strong communication across teams.
  • Analyze production data using SQL to support issue triage and rootcause investigation.
  • Manage assigned tickets and document issues that need conversion to bugs for further review.

Here is what you need:

  • US Citizen (Public Trust eligible)
  • Hands-on experience with batch processing systems and job monitoring tools.
  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries.
  • Ability to analyze data, evaluate data quality, and identify patterns and anomalies.

Preferred experience:

  • Experience supporting production systems in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Familiarity with SOP development or process documentation.
  • Exposure to troubleshooting workflows or release-related process improvements.
  • Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Splunk, Dynatrace and Jira skills highly desired.
  • Bachelors degree
