Description
This student intern position supports a research project focused on developing evidence-informed, interactive online ethics learning modules for healthcare students. The intern will assist with creating engaging multimedia learning activities, interactive case studies, knowledge checks, and instructional materials using educational technology platforms such as H5P and the university's learning management system. The intern will collaborate closely with faculty investigators to develop, test, refine, and implement interactive digital
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist in developing interactive online learning modules using educational technology platforms.
• Create and edit interactive learning activities, including H5P content, branching scenarios, knowledge checks, and multimedia components.
• Integrate videos, graphics, animations, images, and other multimedia into learning modules.
• Test learning modules across devices and browsers to ensure usability, functionality, and accessibility.
• Assist with usability testing and pilot implementation of learning modules, and document feedback to support ongoing refinement and improvement.
• Assist with formatting and organizing content within the university's learning management system.
• Revise modules based on feedback from the principal investigator and project collaborators.
• Assist with documenting module development and maintaining project files.
Qualifications:
• Experience creating digital or multimedia content for web-based environments.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS is preferred.
• Interest in instructional technology, educational media, user experience design, or digital learning.
• Ability and willingness to learn new educational technology platforms and digital authoring tools.
