Class B Driver
Summary
The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings. We are looking for a full-time class B driver at our Indianapolis, Indiana location. The Macomb Group has differentiated itself from competitors by continually expanding our operations to provide unbeatable specialty services, a huge inventory, energy-efficient solutions, and exceptional customer service. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, self-driven individual to join our growing team.
Responsibilities
  • Local deliveries
  • Transport materials to and from specified destinations
  • Prepares receipts for load pickup
  • Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
  • Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
  • Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Class B License
  • Able to drive manual
  • DOT Certification
  • Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
  • Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs
  • Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
  • Knowledge of PVF is a plus
Work Setting
Indianapolis, Indiana
Monday - Friday, day shift
OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM
No nights, holidays, or Sundays
