Controls Specialist / Programmer - Dallas, TX - $85,000-$105,000 + BonusAbout the Opportunity:

A Tier-1 Technology and Integration firm is seeking a skilled Controls Specialist / BAS Programmer to support high-level Building Automation System (BAS) projects throughout the Dallas metro area. This organization delivers advanced smart building, data center, and infrastructure integration solutions, blending software, networking, and field commissioning. The role combines programming, system configuration, and hands-on integration work.

Position Details:
  • Title: Controls Specialist / Programmer - BAS Controls
  • Location: Dallas, TX
  • Status: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop BAS applications based on engineering drawings and project requirements
  • Create, modify, and implement control sequences (SOPs and custom logic)
  • Program, configure, and upload system databases
  • Integrate third-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, LON, and similar protocols
  • Utilize Script/Line and Function Block/Graphical programming environments
  • Configure system settings and parameters across multiple BAS platforms
