Join a highly collaborative team of 50+ BAS professionals delivering advanced automation, energy, and integration solutions for commercial, government, and institutional environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of programming, software configuration, and hands-on field commissioning.

Position Details:
  • Title: Controls Specialist - BAS Controls
  • Location: San Diego, CA
  • Compensation: $40-$55/hour (DOE) + Bonus Opportunities

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience with BAS programming (script/line logic or block/graphical)
  • Tridium Niagara integration experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of controls hardware, software, and project workflows
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, test, and deploy BAS applications based on schematics and project parameters
  • Write or revise Sequences of Operation for HVAC and automation systems
  • Configure, upload, and maintain BAS databases and controller setups
  • Perform third-party integration using BACnet, Modbus, LON, and other protocols
  • Program in both Script/Line and Function Block environments
  • Support integration across multiple BAS platforms and vendor technologies
  • Provide remote service and VPN troubleshooting for active client systems
  • Set up trends, alarms, dashboards, and graphics for user interfaces
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and engineering staff on project execution
  • Assist with commissioning, field startup, and system validation
