Job description

Beverage Barback - Rivers Casino
Position Summary: Join our dynamic team at Rivers Casino as a Beverage Barback! In this role, you'll provide crucial support to our beverage team members, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation of our bar service.
Responsibilities:
  • Keep the liquor manifold well-stocked throughout the shift and distribute beer and liquor orders to the appropriate locations.
  • Set up and monitor supplies during shifts, including restocking various beverages and essentials.
  • Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the pop and liquor rooms, including regular sweeping and mopping.
  • Keep bar and storage areas free of clutter, debris, and trash at all times.
  • Maintain ice levels and ensure continual restocking of beer throughout the shift.
  • Monitor chemical levels in dish machines and replace as necessary for effective cleaning.
  • Manage garbage disposal areas, ensuring regular emptying and thorough cleaning of garbage cans.
  • Maintain focus on safety and accident prevention, promptly reporting any incidents to the supervisor and completing necessary documentation.
  • Maintain a clean work area and ensure effective communication between shifts.

Qualifications:
  • Demonstrate the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Exhibit a cooperative, friendly nature with a well-groomed appearance.
  • Ability to understand Material Safety Data Sheets relevant to the position.
  • Must be able to obtain a RAMP certification
  • Possess strong teamwork skills and flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays.
  • Obtain and maintain all necessary state licensing for the role.

Certifications:
  • Obtain a Pennsylvania Non-Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.

Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods of standing and working in the bar areas

  • Capacity to lift and pull up to 50lbs regularly, and occasionally handle 50+lbs.
