Job description

Premium Bar Back (Delta Sky Club) - State Farm Arena/Levy Restaurants
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour. This is not a tipped position.
Schedule: Part time; event-based schedule. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and someholidays.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a desire to gain experience and work in the foodservice or hospitality industry. An outgoing personality is preferred. The candidate should have the ability to interact with high profile guests and remain professional and dedicated to providing an exceptional experience. The ability to comunicate effectively with the ability to problem solve and make decisions with little guidance.
Qualifications
  • Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
  • Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods of time throughout the day.
  • Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds

Job Summary
Summary: The Premium Barback is responsible for working with the Premium Bartenders to ensure that guests are enjoying their time throughout the arena. The Barback helps with emptying plates and glassware, as well as setting up the bar before service. In addition, the Barback helps with the wiping down of the bar.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Retrieves all needed food items from kitchen and delivers to bar area.
  • Retrieves all needed beverage items and garnishes from storerooms and delivers to bar area.
  • Sets up bottles on bar with 'top shelf' liquor on back shelf.
  • Ensures beer taps are working properly.
  • Places appropriate bar snacks on counter; keeps supplies, such as snacks and napkins, stocked throughout shift.
  • Assists in opening and closing side work as assigned.
  • Buses tables in bar area.
  • Helps ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the bar or lounge areas; washes work tables, walls, refrigerators and floors under equipment; sweeps and mops service areas, including floor mats.
  • Ensures rubbish is removed from all receptacles.
  • Prepares and serves beverages as needed to assist bartender.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
