Job Duties
Under general supervision this full-time position is responsible for servicing and supporting cadet/faculty/staff computers and for imaging and deploying new computers. This position will provide telephone, walk-in, and e-mail support to the Faculty/Staff Help Desk and the Barracks Help Desk/Lab.
- Cadet Personal Computer Support: Assist cadets with network logon, answering technical support questions, provide software and hardware installation, configuration and maintenance on cadet owned computers and other devices including but not limited to mobile phones and tablets. Work with technical support to coordinate warranty service on hardware. Update and maintain technical procedural documents. Provide support via walk-in, phone, and email.
-Barracks Lab Maintenance: Install and maintain computer hardware, peripherals and wiring in the Barracks computer lab. Maintain barracks lab printers by refilling supplies, verifying proper operation, and working with outside technical support when necessary.
-Barracks Help Desk and Barracks Lab: These areas are kept neat and orderly. Floors are kept clear of all obstacles and counters are kept in a neat and orderly fashion. Cabinets are kept in neat and orderly fashion.
-Faculty and Staff Personal Computer Hardware and Software support: Assist faculty and staff with computer hardware, software, and network related problems as they arise. Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and software related issues on faculty and staff computers. Work with technical support or coordinate warranty service on hardware. Update and maintain technical procedural documents.
Minimum Qualifications
• College coursework in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Maintaining administrative software/hardware in a college setting preferred.
• Technical skills and knowledge dealing with Desktop support in a Windows environment with a slight mix of Apple hardware.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office Suite environment.

This regular, full-time position will work Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed by the Department.
