Job Overview

Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Forklift Operator/Order Puller, where you'll be the driving force behind efficient materials handling and order fulfillment. In this energetic role, you'll operate various types of equipment—including reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks—to safely load, unload, and organize inventory. Your expertise will ensure accurate order picking, inventory management, and seamless warehouse distribution processes. Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of material handling equipment such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, forklifts, Hi-Lo lifts, and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments efficiently.
  • Pick and prepare orders accurately using barcode scanning systems and warehouse management systems to meet shipping deadlines.
  • Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and stacking materials in accordance with safety standards.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and inventory management procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and warehouse safety protocols during all equipment operation and materials handling activities.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming goods against purchase orders and preparing outgoing shipments.
  • Perform basic equipment repairs or report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime.

Skills

  • Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanning for logistics, and inventory control procedures.
  • Familiarity with warehouse distribution operations including order picking, load & unload activities, shipping & receiving protocols.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to manual handling guidelines.
  • Understanding of forklift safety standards in production environments (OSHA compliance).
  • Experience in warehouse supervision or leading small teams is a plus but not required.
  • Basic math skills for inventory counting and measurement tasks.
