You'll gain practical experience working with SAP, production data, and operational metrics while contributing to projects that directly impact business performance and customer success.

We are seeking a motivated local student intern to join our Operations Team in Milpitas. This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with the Sr. Operations Manager and gain exposure to manufacturing operations, supply chain management, production planning, and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will begin in January 2027 and work full-time through June 2027, with flexibility to accommodate academic requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor assembly capacity, material availability, and inventory levels.
  • Support standardization of SAP transactions and barcode-driven production processes.
  • Track and report downtime on critical production equipment.
  • Collect, analyze, and report production yield and operational performance data.
  • Perform data analysis to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Assist with optimization of inventory tracking through SAP and barcode scanning systems.
  • Organize, maintain, and improve document management systems to ensure accessibility of operational information.
  • Support continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing efficiency, inventory control, and production flow.
Required Experience and Skills
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP, barcode systems, Power BI, or CAD software is beneficial but not required.
Desired Experience and Skills
