Job description

SkillsetGroup is seeking a Hand Assembly Lead to work in the Irvine, CA area. The Hand Assembly Lead will be responsible for leading a small team while assisting with the assembly, packaging, quality inspection, and fulfillment of medical products in a clean, fast-paced healthcare logistics environment. The ideal candidate will have previous assembly, warehouse, fulfillment, or production experience with prior leadership or team lead experience. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity.
Job Title: Hand Assembly Lead
Pay: $19.00/hour
Hours: Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Lead and support a team of approximately 4-5 assembly associates.
  • Perform hands-on assembly, packaging, and kitting of medical products.
  • Ensure work instructions and quality standards are followed.
  • Perform quality inspections and verify product accuracy.
  • Apply labels, barcode scan products, and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Assist with training and supporting team members.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Help prioritize work and adapt to changing production schedules.
Requirements
  • Previous assembly, warehouse, packaging, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience.
  • Prior lead, trainer, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Comfortable using barcode scanners and basic computer systems.
  • Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
