Job description

Position Summary:ย Reporting to the Lobby Bar General Manager, the Supervisor acts as an ambassador on the floor and provides guests with welcoming and attentive care. The Lobby Bar is generally open from 2:00pm - 11:00pm, 7 days per week. Ideal candidates must be able to work afternoons, late evenings, weekends and holidays.ย 

Pay Rate: The rate of pay listed on job boards are auto-generated numbers. Kiawah Island Golf Resortโ€™s actual rate of pay for this position starts at $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications:ย 

  • Associate degree, or equivalent life experience in a supervisory role, preferred.
  • Minimum 21 years of age required which expectation to mix and serve alcohol.
  • Minimum of 2 years Food Service experience required, preferably server/bartender; 1 year of previous Supervisory/Management experience highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years Server/Bartender experience preferred.
  • Point of Sales system (InfoGenesis or other) experience preferred.
  • Must be able to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Basic understanding/knowledge of business financials is preferred.
  • Ability to communicate in English with guests, coworkers, and management to their understanding is required.
  • Must work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 lbs. across short-medium distances.
