Qualifications:

Under the direct supervision of the F&B Manager/Supervisor, this position mixes and serves alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks to patrons of bar for Amicalola Falls State Park & Lodge.

To perform the job successfully, an individual should perform the following essential functions of the position:

  • Mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
  • Serves wine and draught or bottled beer
  • Collects money for drinks served
  • Requisitions liquors and supplies
  • Arranges bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
  • Slices and pits fruit for garnishing drinks
  • Informs guests of all food, beverage and bar promotions
  • Adheres to accounting practices and standards
  • Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of bar area
  • Works closely with the kitchen in the serving of food
  • Breaks down bar, locks up liquor and stores fruit and juices properly
  • Accepts responsibility for recognizing over-indulgence of alcoholic beverages by customers
  • Other duties as assigned by managers/supervisors
  • Complies with laws of the State of Georgia
