Job description

Plaza Mariachi is looking for a bar manager to provide guests exemplary dining experience, hiring, training, developing, and evaluating team members such as servers, hosts, and bartenders. In addition, the bar manager will supervise and oversee daily operations to ensure profitability through outstanding bar presentation, guest service, and daily operational cost control.


Responsibilities


  • Engage and welcome each guest personally
  • Menu Development
  • Handle day-to-day operations to ensure bar is running smoothly 
  • Employee scheduling and overseeing staff
  • Upkeeping Inventory 
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards mandated by state, federal and OSHA regulations
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the food and beverage manager


Qualifications


  • Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Good attention to detail, organizational, time management, problem-solving.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • College degree preferred
