Job description

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Director of Food and Beverage to join the team at Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite in Fish Camp, California. As Director of Food and Beverage, you will be responsible for leading teams across multiple restaurant outlets and banquets for Tenaya Lodge. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic leader who combines a strong results-driven mindset with genuine empathy, fostering both performance and people, creating a strong alignment between front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and cultivating talent by empowering team members to reach their full potential.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $99,800 - $134,700 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?
  • Hire, train, and develop both salaried and hourly team members to deliver high standards of service to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction
  • Ensure financial plans are met or exceeded
  • Establish and maintain safety and sanitation procedures, including the proper repair and maintenance of food service equipment
  • Ensure compliance with regulations regarding the sale of alcohol, payroll, employment guidelines, and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration
  • Determine staffing levels to maximize net returns while maintaining guest service levels
  • Prepare and submit monthly projections and reports
  • Verify that effective systems for cash, inventory, and payroll procedures are in place
  • Operate a company vehicle when necessary
More about you
  • Minimum of 7 years of large-scale hospitality management experience, overseeing multiple food and beverage outlets and banquets
  • Familiar with various software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, catering software, and point-of-sale systems
  • Established assessment and decision-making skills with proven ability to build relationships and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
