The Division of Pediatrics at the University of Arizona, in partnership with Banner University Medical Group is seeking a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to join our team. The physician hired will have a faculty appointment at the University of Arizona consistent with the candidate's credentials.
Opportunity Details:
  • The physician hired for this role will partner closely with Dr. Marci Macaraeg . In addition, this position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with colleagues from well-established multi-disciplinary sub-specialties such as Primary Care, Pediatric Hospitalists and Intensivists, Infectious Disease, Radiology, Pathology, Gastroenterology, and Hematology/Oncology.
  • Excellent tenured nursing staff.
  • M-F: 8-5
  • Providers participate in teaching and mentoring.
  • EMR system: Cerner
  • Pediatric hospitalist coverage 24/7
  • Opportunities for research, quality improvement, community outreach, leadership, administrative, academic and teaching activities are available.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Arizona medical license obtained by start date
  • BC in Pediatrics
  • Completed Pediatric Rheumatology Fellowship with sub-specialty certification
