Job description

Is making a difference in someone's life your passion?
Banner Health is seeking a dynamic Nurse Practitioner to assist in providing Palliative Care. Our NP will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, including social work and chaplain support, while collaborating with an experienced palliative care physician who is available remotely for consultation and clinical guidance as needed. Qualified candidate must be detail-oriented, a good communicator, and dedicated to providing excellent care in challenging situations.
Our Nurse Practitioner will be passionate about this type of specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses. Our Provider will be involved in clinical management of patients, leading serious discussions with patients and their families about their pain management, complex symptom control, inpatient end-of-life care, and providing consultations regarding goals of care and advance care planning.
Work Schedule: Full Time | M - F | 8a - 5p | No Call
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience as an NP, FNP, ACNP or AGNP
  • Palliative Care experience required
  • ACHPN credentialed within 18 months of hire
  • Current CPR and BLS
  • Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license for controlled substances.
