Job description

Summary:
Weber Blackstone is hiring a Graphic Designer on the Creative team. This role is accountable for visual design, execution and production of strategic omni-channel communications that help consumers choose and use Weber products.
In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team to craft a variety of creative assets for Global New Product launch toolkits and US Marketing campaigns to drive sales of Weber products and build the Weber brand. Projects cover a range of consumer touchpoints and may include but are not limited to website landing pages, PDP pages, banner ads, CRM emails, in-store POP, brochures, pre- and post-purchase videos, social media, visual support for retailer sell-in presentations, logo design and more
This is a hybrid role requiring onsite office days in our Palatine, IL campus.
Responsibilities include the following:
  • Work as a part of a cross-functional creative team to execute global product launch and US marketing campaigns across a wide range of media and platforms with focus on Weber-owned digital, social, video and in-store experiences
  • Apply deep understanding of product features and benefits, passion for the consumer and insight into the shopping journey to create compelling designs and layouts that drive preference and purchase of Weber products
  • Collaborate with Associate Creative Director to execute digital and print assets including website landing pages, PDP content, social media, POP, displays and more
  • Ensure all creative executions align with brand guidelines and are stylistically accurate and consistent
  • Synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders including Product, Channel and Marketing Leads; D2C; Associate Creative Director and others, rethinking creative approach as needed and providing fresh solutions to challenges
  • Adhere to timelines and expectations for interim and final creative deliverables as established by Associate Creative Director and Sr Manager Creative Operations
  • Utilize project management system (Work Front) consistently for timely sharing of work and team communication
  • Communicate with Associate Creative Director and Sr Manager Creative Operations on timely and consistent basis and engage in relevant status meetings to prioritize and manage timelines and deliverables
  • Contribute to the culture of the in-house creative team, promoting a spirit of positivity and teamwork

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, Marketing, Advertising, or related field
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in a Graphic Designer or Art Director role at a shopper/digital marketing agency or in-house creative team at a leading consumer brand or retailer
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating experience in omni-channel creative development, with focus on mid- and lower-funnel activations including website design, social media and retail marketing
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Microsoft Office
  • Collaborative, team-oriented individual who is open-minded to and inspired by ideas and feedback from others and respectfully shares theirs in return throughout the iterative creative development process
  • High attention to detail, skilled at building well-prepared and proofed layouts and presentations
  • Organized, efficient and agile - able to meet deadlines with ease while working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can flex to deliver a wide scope of creative asks
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, proactively seeks out information and fresh sources of inspiration to optimize creative output
