West Shore bank is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Intern to support our HR team in various functions related to Human Resources. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in organizational design, and workforce management while contributing to the overall success of our HR initiatives.



  • Support employee orientation, onboarding, and training & development programs.
  • Assist with talent acquisition processes including recruiting, HR sourcing, and ATS management through Paylocity.
  • Contribute to employee evaluation and performance management activities.
  • Aid in employee relations initiatives and conflict management efforts.
  • Assist with HRIS data entry, payroll processing using Paylocity.
  • Perform administrative tasks including data collection and maintaining HR records.


Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact across all levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with human resources management concepts such as FMLA, labor law, performance management, and succession planning.
  • Experience with HR system Paylocity, or similar platforms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of benefits administration, payroll systems, and applicant tracking systems .
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and data entry accuracy.
