JOB SUMMARY
The Treasury Management Officer is responsible for driving growth in treasury services, core deposits, and client relationships in Arkansas and Missouri markets. This role partners closely with commercial and retail banking teams to deliver tailored cash management solutions while strengthening client engagement, improving service adoption, and enhancing the overall treasury experience. The ideal candidate is both a consultative sales professional and a treasury subject matter expert who can support clients, mentor internal teams, and contribute to strategic initiatives.

WHAT ARE THE DUTIES OF THE TMO?
Sales & Business Development
  • Develop new treasury management relationships and expand existing client portfolios.
  • Drive growth in core operating deposits and treasury service adoption.
  • Execute a proactive calling program and maintain a strong sales pipeline
  • Deliver client presentations, proposals, and solution-based recommendations

Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business clients
  • Identify opportunities to deepen relationships through treasury solutions
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction, engagement, and retention

Treasury Product Delivery
  • Promote and support treasury solutions, including:
    • Business Online Banking
    • ACH Origination
    • Remote Deposit Capture
    • Positive Pay and fraud prevention services
    • Liquidity and sweep solutions.
  • Provide hands-on training, onboarding, and support to clients, including on-site visits.

Internal Partnership & Training
  • Partner with lenders, branch staff, and internal teams to identify opportunities.
  • Deliver monthly treasury product training and development sessions for frontline staff.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to enhance treasury knowledge and sales effectiveness across the bank.

Strategic & Project Contributions
  • Participate in treasury product, pricing, service, and technology initiatives.
  • Provide insight into client needs, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Support enhancements to treasury offerings and client experience.

Risk & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote sound risk management and fraud prevention practices.
  • Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and operational integrity in all activities.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - candidates must have these to be considered for the role:
  • Bachelor's degree and/or 5 or more years of experience in financial services, retail analytics, or retail finance
  • One or more years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions and physical demands of the job listed.
  • Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive while performing assigned duties and responsibilities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - candidates will stand out if they have these:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products and digital banking tools.
  • Proven track record of sales and relationship management.
  • Experience with FIS or similar platforms.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and objectives.
  • Strict adherence to international and local financial regulations (e.g., SOX, KYC, Basel III) to protect company reputation.
  • Skill to manage bank relationships, negotiate, and navigate complex financial transactions.
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions and instruct others, interpret documents, understand procedures, write reports and correspondence, speak clearly to customers and employees.
