Job Description:
  • The Generalist performs professional duties under the direction of the Laboratory Manager. The Generalist, under the direction of the Blood Bank Manager, is responsible for providing the highest quality and most efficient service to the patient through the proper use of facilities, supplies, equipment and resources. The Generalist provides clinical results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient in all areas of the Laboratory.

Requirements/Skills:
  • N.Y.S. Clinical Laboratory Technologist license
  • B.S. in Lab Science or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a Blood Bank, Hematology and/or Chemistry Technologist preferred. Recent experience required.
