Job Description:
Gate City Bank is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to bring ideas to life and help tell our story through compelling visuals. If you're a creative thinker with a strong eye for detail and a passion for design, this is your opportunity to make an impact in a collaborative and purpose-driven environment. This role will complete creative work for a variety of external and internal touchpoints including print, digital (website, email, social media, online ads) events and marketing collateral.
SCHEDULE:
8-5 Monday-Friday, in-office at minimum 2-3 days per week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Create engaging and effective graphic design solutions for delivery across multiple channels including print, digital (website, email, social media, online ads) events and marketing collateral.
  • Ensure all marketing documents are properly proofed, edited and meets compliance regulations.
  • Present design work at various stages to stakeholders for review and final approval.
  • Ensure all work consistently meets brand standards and guidelines.
  • Provide information on trends, innovations and competitors in graphic design.
  • Thorough and detailed with strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and execute multiple projects efficiently and with a sense of urgency.

Other:
  • Provide a great customer service experience for team members and customers.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with team members, leaders, customers and vendors.
  • Prompt and reliable attendance is essential to provide expected levels of service.
  • Must comply with all Gate City Bank policies, procedures and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Must be detailed-oriented and maintain high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Two- or four-year degree in Graphic Design or related field; 5 years professional experience in graphic arts/design; or a combination of education with a strong portfolio showing competency in design, illustration, logo creation and/or ad layout. Print, digital, photography and video design experience required.
