The primary focus of this position is to effectively process and manage valuation and environmental orders initiated by banking teams.  The position functions as the primary contact for the Appraisal Department and other associates and departments within the Bank, as well as the Banks panel of real estate appraisers and environmental firm.  This position processes and tracks all real estate valuation, appraisal review and environmental orders.


  • Supports the appraisal process by coordinating data collection, managing appraisers and review workflow, and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of appraisals and reviews.
  • Constant communication with 3rd party appraisers and intern business units.
  • Provides general administrative support and assists with ad-hoc and miscellaneous tasks to support the operation of the Appraisal Department.
  • Monitor appraisal timelines and due dates
  • Update, manage and track vendors.
  • Assist with review of environmental reports for technical accuracy, compliance with the scopes of work, and reasonableness of conclusions.
  • Effectively communicate environmental conclusions and recommendations for additional due diligence or site mitigation as appropriate using lay terms.
  • Counsel and advise bank personnel regarding environmental risks, risk management options and risk mitigation.
  • Support the identification of transactions requiring enhanced review due to property type, industry, or location-specific environmental concerns.
  • Provide solutions to internal customers to address potential issues within the framework of the loan transaction.
  • Vendor Coordination
  • Track third-party assignments, deliverables, timelines, and costs to ensure
  • Communicate with internal customers and third-party vendors to help resolve basic questions or follow-up items
  • Assist Environmental Risk Officer with training, educating, and advising internal customers to comply with the Bank’s environmental policy requirements.
  • Assist Environmental Risk Officer with maintaining accurate environmental risk documentation in the Bank’s loan and risk management systems.
  • Maintain proactive risk management awareness.
  • Contribute to a culture of collaboration by building effective relationships with internal customers and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate and coordinate data between vendors and internal team.
  • Assist with verification and reconciliation of invoices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The base pay range for this position is USD $20.00/Hr. - USD $31.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
