Your Role
The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for conducting product testing and monitoring, analyzing test results, performing failure analysis, and authoring to propagate the information within the company. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the quality and reliability standards set by the company.
Your Responsibilities
  • Operate the On-going Reliability Testing (ORT) program.
    • Sample product from manufacturing and prepare it for testing on ORT equipment
    • Load/unload and operate ORT equipment.
    • Monitor testing results using software systems.
    • Perform Failure Analysis on products of interest. This can include mechanical, electrical and software systems.
    • Log product and testing information into spreadsheets and other tracking systems
  • Administer the Return Material Authorization (RMA) program
    • Physically receive in RMA products
    • Verify quantities and condition of RMA products
    • Record transactions in ERP software
    • Disposition product based on return condition and transact accordingly
    • Perform first level Failure Analysis of defect returned product
    • Summarize findings into reports and upload to designated databases
    • Escalate as needed for secondary engineering analysis
  • Maintain a clean working environment by maintaining the testing area, inventory of product and the FA laboratory
  • Adhere to all company safety and security rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and fellow co-workers.

Skills/Qualifications
  • 3+ years in high volume manufacturing, automotive preferred.
  • Previous QC/QC/Reliability/RMA experience is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of G-Suite and MS-Office products like spreadsheets, documents, data entry systems
  • Experience with Jira, SalesForce, ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, etc) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Having a high level of integrity and attention to detail are critical characteristics

Hourly Range: $30 - $35
This is a non-exempt position that requires routine lifting of up to 35 lbs. Occasional overtime may be required.
*Base salary only. Salary is dependent on multiple factors including, but not limited to, experience and location.
**Additional compensation may include equity, bonuses, stipends, medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and long-term disability insurance.
