Job description

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for sorting all U.S. Mail and inter-office mail. Runs and operates Mail machine and Desktop inserter.
 
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Sorts all U.S. mail and inter-office mail.
  • Prepares outgoing mail to the Branches.
  • Runs and operates the Desktop machine.
  • Runs and operates the Mail machine.  
  • Prepares outgoing U.S mail.
  • Must be able to start work at 4:00 a.m.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential requirement of the position.
  • Responsible for the completion of all compliance training related to the position.
  • Must understand all applicable laws and regulations that apply to the position and comply with the requirements.
NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs bank courier duties as needed.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
 
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
  • Three (3) months to one (1) year of related experience preferred. 
  • Prior experience in operating a Pitney Bowes Mail machine and Desktop inserter.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • Gets along well with others.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Good attendance record.
  • Aptitude for operating machinery.
 
EDUCATION
High School Diploma/GED required. 
 
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Minimal or occasional travel for meetings, projects or training as needed. 
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Typical operations environment, which includes lifting, pushing, carrying and pulling objects over fifty pounds, operating the inserter and mail machines.
 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit, stand and walk; use hands and fingers to operate keyboard and other office equipment; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop or kneel. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
