Your Role as Production Team Lead

The beautiful wall of bread and treats you see at every COBS Bread location doesn't happen by accident. It's due to the hard work, skills and insight of our production team. Right now, we are looking for personable Production Team Lead to assist the Bakery Production Manager to share their love of fresh bread with our loyal customers.

What your Day Looks Like
  • Lead and work as part of a small team to bake products from scratch early each morning, following carefully crafted recipes
  • Lead and work alongside your team to keep the bakery clean, and contribute to a great customer experience
  • Set and review production schedules to make sure product is out to meet our customers needs

Requirements

  • You are a positive leader and fast learner with a willingness to learn all operations within the bakery
  • You have previous supervisory experience in a bakery or food production environment
  • You are a great communicator, problem solver and critical thinker
  • You are an early riser who can work independently or with a small team
  • You have an ability to forecast and adjust production level based on a detailed review of business data
  • Experienced in delivering exceptional customer service is preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Continuous standing/walking for all tasks
  • Frequent lifting and carrying up to 22 kg
  • Frequent turning and reaching
  • Occasional pushing, pulling and some forward bending
  • Ability to lift at least 2.5 kg to a height of 1.7 meters
  • Constant use of both hands, with frequent wrist rotation and flexing, occasional forceful gripping
