Junior Pastry Chef
 As a Junior Pastry Chef at The Sicilian Baker, you will play a key role in supporting pastry production across multiple bakery locations. You will work closely with the Executive Pastry Chef to ensure high-quality pastry preparation, assist in training and mentoring pastry staff, and maintain consistency in recipes and execution. The ideal candidate will have strong baking and pastry skills, a passion for Italian pastries, and the ability to manage workflow efficiently in a multi-location environment.   
 This role requires travel between three locations in Arizona, ensuring seamless bakery operations and quality control across all sites.

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   
  • Support the Executive Pastry Chef in overseeing daily pastry production and operations across multiple bakery locations
  • Prepare and bake a variety of Italian pastries, desserts, and baked goods, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes
  • Follow The Sicilian Baker's standardized recipes to maintain product quality and presentation

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:   

  • 1-2 Years experience in a pastry or baking role, in a high volume setting
  • Culinary or pastry degree preferred but not required with equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of baking techniques, dough handling, and dessert decoration  
  • Excellent time management and ability to work in a fast-paced environment  
  • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to different bakery locations.   
  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel between three Arizona locations  
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene practices   
  • Works well with a team and takes direction effectively   
  • Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
