Bread Production Associate
Reports to: Department Supervisor and Central Bakery Manager
Job Profile: Clerk 2, Production-Central Bakery
Business Title: Bakery Production-Central Bakery
Position Summary:
Must be able to operate all machinery, including mixers and proof machines. Must be able to learn mixing, baking, and table work. Make sure product is of good quality as it is trayed up. (Weights, appearance, etc.) Must be able to follow safe, sanitary food handling policy to prevent contamination and food borne illnesses.
Starting Wage:
$18.00
Schedule:
Start time: Between 12pm and 1pm
Set days: Monday, Wednesday-Saturday (Sundays and Tuesdays Off)
Overtime frequent and required
Schedule may change on production needs and holidays
Education:
High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
Experience:
Some relevant experience and needs some skills developed through training or work.

Qualifications:
Ability to work with deadlines and follow directions. Since this is a production line it is easy to fall behind and hard to catch up. Basic math and reading skills. Work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible work schedule, weekend availability, occasional Tuesday, Sunday, and holidays are required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50 lbs. Read and understands mix formulas, use a digital and balance scale. Run bread machines and keep count of dough in dividers. Set up of equipment to form different types and shapes of bread, put bread in pans or on trays and placing on racks for baking. Able to work independently and with others. Requires constant bending, stretching and good eye/hand coordination. Pulling and pushing carts filled with dough and mixes. Stand for long periods of time.
Other Duties:
Clean work areas. Wash all equipment, take out trash. Varies according to production needs, occasionally must work in other production areas.
Environmental Conditions:
Exposed to constant indoor temperatures of 75 degrees or higher.
Noise: loud machines. Chemicals: Cleaning solutions.
