Job description

Lone Star Bakery, Inc. is a fast-paced, family-owned, growing business looking for Production Packers. The Bakery can operate up to 24 hours so all shifts are available.

The rate of pay for Packers begins at $14.00/hour with additional $1.00/hour for 2nd & 3rd shifts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Packages, unloads, and assembles production goods.

  • Transfers work-in-process from conveyors to other areas of assembly.

  • Inspects production goods, containers, and packaging materials and ensure that they meet Company standards.

Abilities

  • Ability to team-lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Ability to be on feet all day and perform walking, stooping, and bending functions as required.

  • Ability to work at steady and continuous pace and to keep up with manufacturing production.

  • Ability to focus on safety and work as a team.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include weekends and holidays.
