Job description

Join the Historic team of La Segunda Bakers as a production packer. For over 100 years, we have been making Authentic Cuban Bread using our own family recipe passed down through the generations. No experience is necessary, but the right attitude is a MUST.

This is a team-driven production process. The environment is very hot due to high temperature ovens on site. If this causes a health risk, please do not apply.

You will be working with hot bread product. The Cuban Bread we are so well known for. You will learn how to ensure the proper shipping conditions for the bread we ship all over the US.

Basic Math and reading are needed to complete this job effectively. Lot tracking is used in this department and each employee needs to be able to Lot Track if asked. Production packing is a laborious job by nature.

Standing and lifting up to 50lbs is required from each person. Experience with a pallet jack is also necessary for this job. Three shifts of bread packers are needed around the clock to meet the demands of La Segunda Bread.

We operate 24/7 /365 Bread Packers can begin earning $15 per hour right away with La Segunda Bakery. A 1-week training period is needed to assess your progress and determine if permanent employment can be offered. This job is part-time and can turn into full-time for the right candidate.
