BAKER MUFFINS DANISH PROOF AND BAKE / FULL TIME 3:30PM TO MIDNIGHT

French Wholesale Bakery, a family business, is expanding and recruiting in production, looking for a voluntary person, passionate, and dedicated, who is open-minded and a team player.

BAKER PACKER position, ideal for a person willing to learn how to make and bake MORNING PASTRIES.

Full-Time positions available, hours 3:30 PM to 12 AM.

Interested in joining a family-owned, authentic and traditional French bakery, we're looking for committed and star players to join our team! We are artisans and provide high-quality food. We have high standards and expect hardworking people, adaptable, creative, extremely positive and quality-oriented, excited to grow with this company. We want people that are capable of understanding our brand to its core and see that manifest itself in our kitchen.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The bakery is a 5900 sqft fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen. Our primary focus for your position is on morning pastries. We bake everything fresh from scratch on-site every day. We offer only home made products, bread, morning pastries, fine pastries.

THE JOB:
The goal of this role is to work meticulously with expediency.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Properly weigh and follow recipes to ensure consistency in final product.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Proof and bake all morning pastries.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Team-oriented and collaborative in contribution to an interdependent team.
  • Perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed and accuracy.
  • Penchant for understanding instruction and adhering to recipes.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Must be familiar with the different morning pastries concept & presentation, and bakery practices as well as using ovens.
  • Respect the company's recipes & operating codes.
  • Reliability to arrive to work on time.
  • Current Food Handlers Card Walking, standing all day, lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs, bending to the floor many times a day, are part of the job.
  • Must be able to read, write and do math.

EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ years of experience in the same position.
  • Motivated and quick learner accepted.

DETAILS:
  • Hours: Full-time - afternoon/early evening shift.
  • Wage: Competitive and dependent on experience.
