Job Purpose:
- The Bakery Manager at Hugo's Family Marketplace is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bakery department. This role ensures the production of high-quality baked goods while maintaining efficient production schedules, managing inventory, and adhering to safety and cleanliness standards. The Bakery Manager will also lead and train a team of employees, fostering a positive work environment and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the production of baked goods, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Maintain high standards of quality in all bakery products.
- Train and schedule employees, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
- Greet and assist customers, providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries.
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Oversee budgeting and financial management of the bakery department.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain cleanliness throughout the bakery.
- Implement and uphold food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent leadership and communication skills.
