Lead 2nd-Shift Bakery Operations in Chaska, MN

You’ll champion safety and food safety, uphold quality standards, and keep our lines moving so customers receive products that meet our exacting benchmarks. What a Typical 2nd Shift Looks Like
  • Kick off the shift with a safety huddle, align staffing, and confirm materials and schedules.
  • Oversee production runs, balancing throughput, changeovers, and product quality.
  • Coach Team Members in the moment—reinforce best practices, train new skills, and provide clear feedback.
  • Verify compliance with food safety, quality, regulatory, and company procedures at every step.
  • Track production, labor, and material usage; address variances and remove roadblocks.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and planning to solve issues and protect flow.
  • Investigate incidents, mitigate risks, and cultivate a proactive safety culture.
  • Advance continuous improvement to elevate efficiency, product quality, and cost performance.
What You Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3+ years leading teams in food manufacturing or a production setting.
  • Proven people leadership: coaching, performance feedback, and engagement.
  • Clear communication—verbal, written, interpersonal—and confidence training others.
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn ERP tools such as SAP.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on your feet with bending, walking, and climbing.
Extra Ingredients (Preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Food Science, or a related field.
  • Background in bakery, food manufacturing, or CPG.
  • Hands-on experience driving continuous improvement.
