About the Role:
Join Great Harvest Bread Co in Herndon, VA as a Farmers Marketeer, where you’ll be at the forefront of promoting our delicious, freshly baked goods. This exciting role combines your passion for local produced breads and sweets with our commitment to quality, helping to bring the taste of our bakery to the community.

Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers at local farmers' markets to promote and sell our baked goods.
  • Create and maintain attractive product displays that highlight our fresh offerings.
  • Build relationships with local farmers and suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
  • Educate customers about our products.
  • Manage inventory and ensure product freshness at markets and events.
  • Gather customer feedback to enhance our offerings and improve customer experience.
  • Assist in planning and executing special events and assist in production at the bakery.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a valid drivers license and have a good driving record.
  • Experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers.
  • Passion for baking and knowledge of our bakery products.
  • Ability to work weekends and early mornings as required.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and stand for extended periods.
