Job Summary
We are seeking a Baker's Assistant to join the team at our busy bakery! In this role, you will pull various products from our freezer and prep items such as danish, pastries, cookies, turnovers. Etc. This is a part time position for mon-wed. With more hours being available during the holiday season. If you don't mind being in a freezer at times and dislike a slow day of watching the clock tick by come see us at the Rush City Bakery!

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Pull and Prepare products from the freezer.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment and baking areas
  • Bake a variety of cookies, danish,  pastries, turnovers, coffee cakes etc.
  • Help out with other production duties if you finish early.
  • Prepare custom orders
Qualifications: 
  • Previous experience as a baker, pastry chef, or in a similar role is preferred but not necessary.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced bakery environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Team player
  • Available for early morning shifts
