Program Overview

The U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Family and Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Program (FMWRP) supports Soldiers and their Families by delivering vital services and programs across Army installations worldwide. This role directly supports IMCOM's mission by helping ensure timely and accurate processing of background checks tied to childcare services.

Position Overview

RIVA Solutions is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Background Check Administrator (BCA) to support the processing, coordination, submission, and tracking of Child Services Background Checks (CSBCs). This individual will serve as a key administrative resource and liaison for background investigation submissions, helping ensure compliance with government standards, procedural requirements, and established timelines.

The ideal candidate will bring strong communication, customer service, and administrative skills, along with the ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism, accuracy, and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Initiate, coordinate, and track background checks and investigations to support timely and accurate processing.
  • Communicate directly with applicants and functional managers to guide them through required background check and investigation documentation.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain a variety of documents, including memorandums, reports, spreadsheets, and official correspondence.
  • Proofread outgoing documentation to ensure accuracy in grammar, formatting, and data integrity.
  • Compile interim and final childcare suitability results provided by the DAG1 CSSC.
  • Provide regular reporting, updates, and administrative support as required to support background check operations.
  • Maintain organized records and handle sensitive information in accordance with applicable security and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance required
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong organizational and administrative support skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong customer service mindset with the ability to work effectively with applicants and internal stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting background investigation processing, personnel security, or administrative functions in a government or military environment
  • Familiarity with documentation workflows, reporting, and records management in a compliance-driven setting
  • Experience supporting childcare suitability or related military family program operations

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly Rate: $23.39/hour
