Regional Director - Oklahoma City

Purpose: Provide leadership for all Lilyfield programming in Oklahoma City.

Job Responsibilities

Agency Wide:

  1. Provide oversight, management and leadership of all Lilyfield programming in Oklahoma City, including all EmpowerOKC Family Resource Center programs
  2. Provide onsite leadership within the Oklahoma City locations, ensuring that all staff carry out their duties as assigned and working with assigned supervisors to train and develop the Oklahoma City staff
  3. Participate as a member of the Lilyfield leadership team
  4. Supervise assigned staff at the Oklahoma City office
  5. Develop a strong staff team, strong in relationships within the OKC office as well as organization wide
  6. Manage program budgets for EmpowerOKC Family Resource Center programs and participate in budget planning process
  7. Lead the effort to meet program specific goals which are identified in the strategic plan
  8. Oversee and implement the PQI process for OKC programs in coordination with the Operations Manager
  9. Maintain compliance with COA regulations and standards in coordination with the Operations Manager
  10. Make policy and procedure update proposals as needed; monitor implementation and compliance with agency policy
  11. Coordinate partnership efforts related to OKC programs
  12. Manage and maintain appropriate case files per agency policy
  13. Attend job related conferences which may vary from year to year
  14. Some driving may be required
  15. Other tasks as assigned

Prevention Programs:

  1. Lead efforts to develop existing programs to meet grant and contract requirements
  2. Create and execute annual and quarterly client intake numbers in coordination with OKC staff for youth programming, parent groups, and the pregnancy care services
  3. Ensure compliance with all state and federal grants and contracts

Community Outreach and Collaboration:

  1. Attend local and statewide meetings with any state, national, or local lead agencies as appropriate
  2. Raise awareness in the faith community about the scriptural mandate regarding foster care and care and care for the vulnerable
  3. Assist with event planning and coordination as needed
  4. Various marketing and PR activities for the agency

Wage Classification:

Salaried

Financial Justification for the Position:

The position oversees a variety of programs in OKC. There is sufficient funding for this position through various grants and contracts.

Work Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., some evenings and weekends as needed.

Reporting:

This position reports to the Senior Director of Operations.

1. Master's level degree in social work, psychology or a human services related area of study with at least two years' relevant experience or

  1. Willingness to agree to and abide by all policies and procedures including OP406 Code of Ethical and Christian Conduct and OP412 Faith Engagement.
  2. Ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English
  3. Solid clinical social work skills
  4. Strong organizational skills
  5. Experience in child trauma
  6. Demonstrated competence in assessment and evaluation of children and families
  7. Knowledge of issues surrounding adoption and foster care
  8. Ability to use discretion when discussing sensitive or confidential information
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills
  10. Ability to schedule and multitask
  11. Good problem-solving skills
  12. Meet requirements of licensing standards in regard to criminal background check.
  13. Be physically, mentally and emotionally capable of performing the assigned tasks and have the skills necessary to perform assigned tasks.
  14. Valid Oklahoma driver's license

Experience:

At least five years of social work practice and/or nonprofit management experience; At least three years of supervisory experience.
