Back office workers often perform data entry, monitor information about the location, record noteworthy events, and otherwise work to support the internal operations of the business. In this field, you may also participate in overseeing regulatory compliance, managing settlements, and monitoring front-office operations. Some back office employees monitor employee performance, help with employee development, and provide recommendations for when to recruit new employees. In effect, back office jobs focus on the day-to-day administrative operations of a company, particularly as it relates to processing paperwork and handling other tasks. Despite the name, many back office positions work outside of the company's headquarters, so it's common to find work from home positions for these roles.

Job description

Sales Closer Remote The Magneto Effect

About Us

The Magneto Effect works with law firms and is a leading legal services organization focused on helping local law firms achieve significant growth.

We're a mission-driven, high-growth organization powered by technology and world-class talent.

As part of the growth plan for our law firm clients, our leading digital advertising strategy generates hundreds of legal services client opportunities every month, which are booked as potential-client telephone meetings for the firms we represent.

Based on this success and increased market demand, we're expanding our team of remote closers who help our law firm clients sign more cases from the booked meetings we generate.

Why We're Recruiting

One of the critical choke points in a law firm's growth is how the leads and meetings we generate are handled — and that's where our sales specialists come in.

As a highly motivated sales specialist, you'll be engaged by The Magneto Effect, selling on behalf of the law firm clients we partner with. You'll report into The Magneto Effect while working closely with the back-office teams at the firm you represent.

You'll receive ongoing in-call training and persuasion coaching through our expert sales coaching, which will guide and develop you on a continual basis.

You'll play an instrumental role in accelerating the growth of the firm you represent — working with their back-office staff and communicating with our firm to optimize and maximize call performance.

You'll be comfortable operating in a remote environment and deeply grounded in keeping calls on track to drive your results.

You thrive in a results-driven environment, using analytics to define the success of your day-to-day appointments, continually raising the bar against the goals you're set.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Taking booked calls with prospective clients and closing them — turning warm, qualified meetings into signed cases

  • Following our proven in-house call frameworks and scripts to convert at a high rate

  • Hitting (and beating) your conversion and revenue targets call after call

  • Logging each call result accurately so we can track your numbers

  • Handing signed clients cleanly to the law firm's back-office team to take over from there

What We're Looking For

  • At least 2 years of experience in outbound sales calls, with strong results in B2C

  • A strong working knowledge of sectors such as financial services, legal services, healthcare, or similar B2C industries

  • Great at communicating and working within a high-performing, cross-functional team

  • Experience using CRM platforms to execute campaigns that connect marketing-driven leads to sales outcomes

  • A brilliant storyteller who turns calls into insights and recommendations

What Makes This Job Amazing

  • You'll have the benefit of working remotely as an independent contractor and will be richly rewarded for hitting your performance targets

  • You'll help thousands of people choose the right legal services by making the process simple and down to earth — and in turn make their lives safer

  • You'll experience huge learning and professional growth opportunities. The Magneto Effect and the law firms you represent believe in supporting you, and we'll invest in you so you become an expert in this space

  • You'll become part of our transparent, high-performing, close-knit team

  • This is a dedicated contractor position offering industry-leading compensation. We guarantee you'll learn a tremendous amount in a short time, from a team that truly cares about your success.
