Job description

We are searching for a Banking Operations Specialist to provide onsite support for a local financial institution. This position is temporary with the potential to become permanent and pays $20 to $22 per hour.


Responsibilities

  • Process ACH and wire transactions accurately and timely
  • Support daily back-office banking operations
  • Review transaction data and documentation for accuracy
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and banking regulations
  • Assist wire room and central operations functions
  • Monitor processing queues and deadlines
  • Research and resolve operational issues
  • Maintain accurate operational records
  • Support audits and operational reviews
  • Perform additional operations duties as assigned


Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business administration or finance preferred
  • ACH, wire, or banking back-office experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to follow documented procedures
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines
  • Comfort working with banking systems
  • Strong organizational skills
