• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, establishing individualized therapy strategies for clients based on their unique needs and circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic treatments, utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to support children, adults, families, and couples.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care and develop comprehensive treatment plans that address both mental and physical health needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of client information.
• Engage in continuous professional development by participating in workshops, training, and peer reviews to stay informed about the latest trends and research in mental health.

The clientele served by Neuroscience Psychiatric Center encompasses a wide array of individuals experiencing varying degrees of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. • A Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctorate degree in counseling or psychology is preferred.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling setting is essential.
• A solid understanding of legal and ethical standards within mental health practice is critical.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills, adept at establishing rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and other relevant healthcare technologies.

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Experience working with underserved populations and adapting therapeutic approaches to fit the unique needs of various clients is a plus.
• A proven ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams to enhance client outcomes.
