Job description

Bio-Rad is seeking a Science Marketing Copywriter to join our Global Brand and Marketing Communications team. In this role, you will help communicate the value of Bio-Rad's products through engaging, customer-focused content that supports marketing initiatives across the life science and clinical diagnostics markets.

Working closely with marketing managers, designers, product experts, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will develop content that supports product launches, integrated marketing campaigns, customer engagement programs, and brand awareness efforts. This role is ideal for an early-career marketing writer who enjoys translating complex information into clear, compelling messaging across a variety of channels and audiences.

Content may include email campaigns, social media posts, landing pages, brochures, sales collateral, webinar promotions, video scripts, tradeshow materials, presentations, and other customer‑facing marketing assets.

Candidates may be asked to perform a practical editing exercise as part of the interview process.

This is a hybrid position expected to work at least 3 days per week from our headquarters in Hercules, CA. The remaining two days may be worked from the office or remotely.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Develop compelling marketing content across multiple channels, including email, social media, web, video, webinar, sales enablement, and tradeshow communications.
  • Partner with marketing managers, designers, and subject matter experts to create clear, engaging messaging that supports product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Translate scientific and technical information into customer‑focused content that resonates with target audiences.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and customer experience across marketing assets and campaigns.
  • Support content review and approval processes while ensuring alignment with regulatory, legal, and editorial requirements.
  • Contribute to campaign planning, content strategy, and creative development initiatives that strengthen Bio-Rad's brand and market presence.
What You Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of copywriting, content marketing, communications, or related experience within biotech, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated ability to create engaging content for email, web, social media, digital campaigns, and sales enablement materials.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and channels.
  • Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and SharePoint; familiarity with Workfront, Figma, AI tools, or similar project management and content development platforms is preferred.

Location: This position must be based in Hercules, CA and requires the employee to be located within commuting distance of the office.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $77,600 to $106,700 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
