Activity Therapist

Brentwood Hospital is looking for a dynamic Activity Therapist to join our team of professionals who are dedicated to providing help and hope to individuals and families for the achievement of improving their mental health. Help, by providing a safe, nurturing environment while they are with us; hope, by providing options for continued improvement when they leave this environment. The Activity Therapist serves as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, to provide therapeutic recreational and activity services to adult, adolescent or child patients under Brentwood Hospital's care for emotional or substance abuse problems.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Develops and implements activity therapy treatment plans in concert with the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintains the clinical and administrative documentation associated with services rendered
  • Accurately meets patient care review criteria; reflects patients presenting issues; current behaviors and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy or related field required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in behavioral health activity therapy preferred.
