Position: Registered Nurse | Mother Baby

Available Schedules:

  • Full-Time Nights 
  • Part-Time Nights ** 20 hours per week or greater provides benefit options

Why work as a Mother Baby Labor Delivery Registered Nurse within our Health System?

Make an Impact! As a part of our Interdisciplinary Team working within this unit, your care and treatment of our patients is an integral part of their overall experience. Our mission is to provide patients with a superior patient experience. This translates to the consistent delivery of safe, high-quality clinical care in the absence of preventable harm. Today, #MainLineHealth continues its leadership as a sophisticated community hospital offering advanced medical technology and access to the most qualified medical staff in the region. 

The Labor Delivery and Post Partum staff handle over 2800 births per year which includes high risk patient population. Our unit includes: 10 labor rooms, 28 post-partum rooms, 12 bed APU and 3 operating rooms. The nursing team works collaboratively with Physicians, Medical Residents, OB Technicians and Lactation consultants to care for the patients.

       Develop and Grow Your Career! Be one of the many Main Line Health Registered Nurses who pursue certifications or advanced nursing degrees (BSN, MSN, MBA, PhD, DNP) by taking advantage of our Tuition Reimbursement Program! This position is eligible for up to $6,000 per year based on your Full or Part Time status.

       Get Involved! Become engaged by joining hospital & system-wide Nursing Committees, Unit Councils, evidence-based research projects, precepting new staff, and pursuing the Clinical Ladder program.

Position: Labor Delivery (Mother Baby) Registered Nurse 
Schedule Options: Full-Time 36 Hours per week | Part-Time | Per Diem | Weekend Program


Experience:
1. One year of recent acute care nurse experience is required.  Mother Baby experience is required
Education:
1. RN Diploma, ASN required.
2. BSN preferred.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. PA RN license required.

2. Provider BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred.
3. NRP preferred

Other Requirements: This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
