JOB SUMMARY:
Olympic Medical Physicians Cardiology clinics are located in Port Angeles and Sequim, on Washington States beautiful North Olympic Peninsula. We have an immediate opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our collegial team. This Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) position is primarily outpatient with no call. In collaboration with our Cardiologists, OMP Cardiology Advanced Practice Clinicians provide specialty outpatient cardiac consultation and follow-up care in the clinic and Heart Center setting.
QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education
Graduate of a physician assistant program and certified by WA State
OR
Master of Science in Nursing, Masters of Nursing, or equivalent Nurse Practitioner Degree.
Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits per Washington State and OMC Medical Staff requirements.

Experience
2 years prior cardiology experience preferred, but not required.

Licensure/Credentials
Current Washington State RN Licensure and current Washington State ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington State
OR
Current Washington State PA-C licensure and prescriptive authority.
Maintains current DEA registration.
Maintains current ACLS certification.
Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff.
