Job description

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Own our Power BI & Microsoft Fabric architecture — semantic models, data structures, and the standards that govern them 
  • Build and lead the enterprise reporting roadmap alongside Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations leadership 
  • Design reporting solutions across NetSuite, Inventory, Financial, and Supply Chain data 
  • Bring consultant knowledge in-house — document it, own it, and reduce our dependency on outside resources 
  • Set up governance: intake, prioritization, and delivery for every BI request 
  • Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Sales, and Operations to weigh reporting options and land on the right approach 
  • Lead weekly report-outs to executive leadership on BI progress, priorities, and roadblocks 
  • Mentor junior BI team members in Power BI, DAX, data modeling, and report design 

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING 

Must-Haves 

  • 7+ years in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Engineering 
  • 5+ years of advanced Power BI development 
  • Hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience — Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Semantic Models, Pipelines, Security & Governance 
  • Advanced SQL development and query performance optimization 
  • ERP reporting and data architecture experience in a complex business environment 
  • Real working knowledge of financial, sales, inventory, and supply chain reporting 
  • A track record mentoring developers/analysts and leading governance initiatives 
  • Comfort presenting directly to executive leadership 

Nice-to-Haves 

  • NetSuite reporting and analytics experience 
  • Apparel, manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain background 
  • Deposco, WMS, or fulfillment system experience 
  • Microsoft Fabric or Power BI certifications 
  • Experience building an internal analytics function from scratch 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Extended periods at a computer; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs; ability to move throughout the facility and communicate in person, by phone, and electronically.
