The Senior Business Intelligence Engineer solves complex business problems using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. You will work assignments involving moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

You will describe the technologies, applications and practices used to analyze an organization's raw data to create insightful and applicable business information. You will influence department's strategy. You will independently make technical decisions for project components. You will exercise considerable latitude in determining goals and approaches to assignments. You will report to the Business Intelligence Lead.

Use your skills to make an impact

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of technical experience in data analysis OR Master's degree and 3+ years of experience.

  • Advanced user of SQL and Power BI.

  • Advise with partners and identify analytics needs.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Advanced experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations.

  • Experience analyzing data to solve different business problems and create data visualizations that move strategic direction.

  • Proficiency in understanding Healthcare related data.

  • Strong communication skills with senior and executive leaders.

  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on improving consumer experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

  • Expertise in data mining, forecasting, simulation, or predictive modeling.

  • Experience creating analytics solutions for multiple healthcare sectors.

  • Preference given to candidates who can work EST hours.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
