Base salary: $115K-$145K
Bonus: 20%
Stage: Series B

The Opportunity

We're recruiting an Account Manager / Customer Success Manager for a growing Series B B2B SaaS company helping marketing and revenue teams make smarter decisions about events.

The platform provides actionable intelligence around B2B events, helping customers understand where to invest, who to engage, and how their event strategy contributes to business outcomes.

Its customers include recognizable technology companies such and is growing rapidly month over month.

This isn't a reactive CSM role.

You'll own customer relationships across the lifecycle with meaningful responsibility for retention, renewals, expansion, adoption, and churn prevention.

The team is particularly interested in commercially minded Account Managers and CSMs who don't wait until a renewal is approaching to discover whether an account is healthy.

What You'll Own

  • Own and develop customer relationships across the client lifecycle
  • Drive retention and proactively identify churn risks
  • Own renewals and identify expansion and upsell opportunities
  • Build relationships with key customer stakeholders
  • Develop strategic account plans tied to customer goals and measurable outcomes
  • Lead onboarding, training, and adoption
  • Understand each customer's challenges, priorities, and objectives
  • Build collaborative action plans with clear milestones, responsibilities, and timelines
  • Develop compelling business cases that reinforce customer value
  • Identify opportunities to deepen customer engagement and grow accounts
  • Gather customer feedback and work cross-functionally to improve the customer experience
  • Help customers learn from proven strategies, methods, and processes
  • Contribute to customer education and community through initiatives such as webinars, events, and case studies

What We're Looking For

The strongest candidates will combine Customer Success relationship skills with Account Management commercial instincts.

Core profile:

  • 5+ years of relevant Customer Success and/or Account Management experience
  • Experience in B2B SaaS
  • Experience working in a growth-stage or startup environment
  • Ownership of renewals and customer retention
  • Experience driving upsells, expansion, or account growth
  • Strong stakeholder and relationship management skills
  • Highly proactive approach to identifying and preventing churn
  • Comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment
  • Quick learner who can operate effectively without excessive structure

Especially compelling:

  • Account Management background with direct commercial ownership
  • Previous sales experience
  • Experience owning both retention and expansion
  • Mid-Market or Enterprise customer experience
  • Track record of proactively identifying risk well before renewal
  • Experience building Customer Success processes within an earlier-stage company

You do not need experience in event technology.

Why This Role?

This is a strong fit for someone who believes Customer Success should be both customer-centric and commercially accountable.

Instead of simply managing a book of business, you'll have the opportunity to influence whether customers stay, grow, adopt the product, and realize measurable value.

You'll also be joining shortly after a Series B, with the opportunity to help shape how a growing Customer Success organization operates.

Compensation

  • $110K-$145K base salary
  • 20% bonus

Benefits

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Two additional company-wide shutdown periods each year
  • Week of July 4th off
  • Week between Christmas and New Year's off

If you're the kind of Account Manager or CSM who wants to own the commercial outcome of your accounts, not just customer check-ins, this is worth a conversation.
