Role: Senior Azure Migration Engineer and Architect (2 Roles)
Location: Daly City, CA (Locals only Onsite Required)
Duration: 12+ Months
Start: Immediate
 
Note: The candidate must have strong experience in Data Governance, along with Cloud Data Center experience, specifically related to Data Centers and Migrations.
 
Role Overview
We are hiring two senior, hands-on Azure Migration Engineers to execute the migration of ~200 servers from Rackspace to Azure in a healthcare environment.
 
These engineers must be capable of independently driving migration tasks, validating application dependencies, implementing HA/DR configurations, and ensuring stability for systems integrated with Epic-hosted applications.
 
Key Responsibilities
      •     Execute server migrations using Azure Migrate and related tools.
      •     Deploy and configure Azure compute, storage, networking, and security components.
      •     Validate integrations with Epic-hosted environment and other healthcare applications.
      •     Implement high availability, backup, replication, and failover configurations.
      •     Configure monitoring, dashboards, and alerting.
      •     Maintain migration documentation and support operational handoff.
 
Required Experience
      •     5+ years hands-on Azure implementation and migration experience.
      •     Healthcare application migration experience required.
      •     Experience in Epic-integrated environments preferred.
      •     Strong understanding of HA/DR, resiliency, and failover architecture.
      •     Ability to work independently onsite and move execution forward rapidly.
