Information technology (IT) technicians maintain computer systems, provide technical support, and teach their clients the basic skills they need to operate newly installed programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Maintain POS hardware and ensure all venues are fully prepared for operations daily
  • Inspect and maintain Micros Symphony terminals, printers (receipt/kitchen), and cash drawers across all venues during pre-shift checks
  • Facilitate all user access to multiple systems including Azure Active Directory, SharePoint, etc.
  • Experience in Micros Symphony and/or other hospitality POS systems.
  • Perform daily pre-shift inspections of Micros Symphony terminals, receipt/kitchen printers, cash drawers, and handheld devices across all venues to ensure full operational readiness.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Micros Symphony errors, printer failures, and connectivity issues in real time during service with minimal disruption to venue operations.
  • Coordinate with venue managers to execute menu rollouts, limited time offer (LTO) pricing changes, and event configurations in Micros Symphony.
  • Manage and respond to end-user support requests through the IT ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and accurate documentation of all incidents, assets, and provisioning activities.
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support for desktops, laptops, and peripherals across Windows and Mac OS environments, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues while delivering end-user training and guidance.
  • Document, maintain, upgrade or replace hardware and software.
  • Follow-up with users regularly throughout the issue resolution process to ensure smooth communication.
  • Provide up-to-date information to end users in response to specific inquiries.
  • Provide notification to Leadership Staff regarding potential issues as they arise.
  • Maintain asset and inventory control of computers, hardware, software and peripherals.
  • Collaborate with IT Administrators and the IT Director on special projects, system initiatives, and strategic assignments.
  • Complete additional duties and ad hoc tasks as directed by IT leadership.
  • Complete any other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or member of the IT leadership team.
     

EDUCATION/WORKING KNOWLEDGE:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Hospitality experience a plus
  •  Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Valid Driver's License
  •  Must be eligible to obtain a Passport for international travel.
  • 21+ years of age
  • Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office, POS systems, Oracle knowledge preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in computer systems or corporate IT support preferred
  • CompTIA A+ preferred
  • Experience with workstations, cell phones, printing systems, hardware and software repairs
  • Experience with Lan/Wan support
  • Good verbal and communication skills
