Commercial Insurance Account Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
Support the Commercial Insurance Account Manager in tactical execution of the client support plans. Interact with clients to provide daily program servicing, maintain accurate and complete client data and provide responsive communication to client and underwriting facilities. This position offers growth and development opportunities for long term career success.
Preferred Qualifications:
· College degree preferred.
· Florida Customer Representative (4-40) license will be required; training toward Intro and INS Certificate helpful.
· At least 1-year general office experience strongly desired.
· Insurance agency and/or carrier experience helpful.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Essential Functions:
· Maintain accurate client data information systems
· Prepare confirmation documentation and administration manual
· Input service calendars into automated calendar/activity systems
· Perform initial policy check-in
· Issue certificates of insurance, evidence of property, and auto identification cards
· Prepare claim loss notice, transmit to company, and assign for resolution
· Update database with risk profile data
· Process change requests and cancellations
· Invoice agency billed premiums and maintain premium history
· Order loss runs
· Prepare summaries/schedules of insurance
· Establish, maintain and purge policy files
· Participate in internal pre-renewal meetings.
