Overview of position:

We are looking for a Platform Engineer/Architect, Journeyman work in Indianapolis, IN

An active Secret Security clearance and United States Citizenship are required to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide platform engineering support for DFAS CCE JWICS classified enclave
  • Process and resolve Tier 3 DFASNow support tickets
  • Update DFASNow with essential and material information
  • Support implementation and testing of new technologies
  • Assist with engineering network configuration documentation
  • Support CCE infrastructure monitoring activities
  • Participate in change control processes
  • Document solutions and effort expended in ticketing system
  • Coordinate with senior engineers on complex issues
  • Support COOP exercises and disaster recovery testing

Experience/Skills:

  • 5+ years systems engineering experience
  • Windows Server administration (AZ801-802 certification)
  • Security+ certification
  • Experience with JWICS or classified network environments
  • Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux administration
  • Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Nutanix)
  • Knowledge of MECM, SCOM, and Microsoft management tools
  • Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, DFASNow)
  • Understanding of DoD security requirements"

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP certification (upgrade path)
  • Prior JWICS administration experience
  • Azure administrator certification
  • Experience with DFAS systems
  • Knowledge of DISA STIGs and hardening
  • Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash)

Education:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldย 

Certifications:

  • Microsoft Azure AZ-801 & AZ-802
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD-approved IAT Level II certification

Clearance:

  • Active Secret Security clearance is required.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITCโ€™S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
